Breakfast Clubbing #22
W/c Sept 9. ON this week in Paris, PDX, Wmsburg, The Hamptons, CDMX, MIA, CPH, Cincy, DTBK, Manhattan, Vegas and LA (Westside). Read to the end for Camp Cultivate update (invites released)!
HUGE Breakfast Week. Paris (tomorrow), Copenhagen (Weds) and Venice CA/LA Westside all debut. Plus all the standby weeklies, save London (off this week) and Edinburgh (back on Oct. 9th). New this week: Melbourne on October.
With all the new cities, I often get asked if there’s a specific way to do Breakfast Club, or invite people, or recap. The truth is there isn't. Case in point, Mike Kilcoyne’s wild and original “Tommy Hamptons” recap video, which made me smile this afternoon. To paraphrase Mike, AI is Wild.
Or, like Karla Rodriguez C’s exquisite invite to the first BC Paris. Love it.
Really, the only ‘right’ way to do Breakfast Club is YOUR way. That, and follow:
The Breakfast Club Esprit de Corps.
Everyone’s invited - especially you. And you can join the group here, too.
Feel free to share, bring friends, colleagues, family, anyone.
No agenda, no required buy-in, no RSVP. And no pitches.
Everyone pays their own way.
Everyone is welcome to subscribe:
SO - if that sounds like fun, raise a hand. Breakfast Club has got your back.
And now: Breakfast Clubbing ….

Announcing Camp Cultivate
OK - I got special clearance this to open up a few slots to join me at the first ever Camp Cultivate, October 14-17 at Outbound Mammoth in Mammoth Lakes, CA
Camp will be a two day, three night gathering of 50 or so creatively minded, long-serving and highly networked people to connect, converse, socialize, explore, and celebrate - very much in the spirit of Breakfast Club.
It’s modeled in part on a similar experience called Saturnalia in North Adams Mass that I took part in that was hugely valuable to me - I got new friends, new associates and a bunch of new perspective out of it, in 2021 and have been jonesing for something like it since.
So when my longtime pal and head of marketing for Outbound, Bridget Russo, asked if I’d ever considered a Breakfast Club retreat, I jumped at the chance (after securing Saturnalia major domo Scott Stedman's very gracious approval).
So, the proposition is this: take a look, clear a few days register here. The only cost to you is $300 ($100/night) for your spacious, well-appointed) room, and finding your way to Mammoth (we can aid with that). Meals, programming and activities are all included. Guests need to be approved because of limits on capacity - but register if you’re down and we’ll give Breakfast Clubbing subscribers priority.
The vibes will be pristine, as the kids say. Friends from New York is running the music, the legend Lysa Cooper will lead wellness sessions and there will be plenty of familiar faces. It’s not vacation, so if you need to knock out some work while there - go for it. It’s cool.
That’s it(!!) for this round. See you at Breakfast! And if not this week, another one soon.
Ben
I think the LA location is wrong?
