Hi all,

Excuse the late send. I’m back in NYC. Last week was a tough one for me personally (another discussion entirely) but one bright spot was that the Breakfast Club community came through for me, as always. Not only through the amazing moments planned around the world, but the spontaneous ones too. To wit, Hugh’s post:

“Start small. And why not. After all, it’s a very small 🏝️ we live on. This morning myself and Adam Wilson launched the Ibiza chapter of Breakfast Club - a global meet up launched by the brilliant Ben Dietz. We were also joined by out of picture emma sharpe….

This morning we talked about decision sprints, career narratives, the first ever big DJ residency announcement in clubland, hotel pillow menus, starting a mental health running club, micro decisions and habit building, the downside to Ibiza’s side hustle culture and building authentic moats for your brand.

I’m still thinking about the cadence of Ibiza Breakfast Club but if you live on the island or plan to visit keep and eye out for future dates and locations.

I had *no idea* Hugh, Adam and Emma were planning something - it was only last week that (through this venue) I encouraged them to get started. And they did!

That in an example is the beauty of Breakfast Club. It can just happen. And with three people or 30+ (as in Milan), it’s valuable.With a new crew in Boston will start doing on February 6th. Or with a host abroad like Karla’s doing in Panama City, and Amy’s doing in Amsterdam, bolstering the local scene.

Which is to say, if you’re thinking of joining sometime …. join. Everyone’s invited. Especially you.
